Alterian releases Professional Edition of its
Content Manager technology, offering partners and clients an even
faster time-to-live for their websites
London – 15 April 2010 – Alterian (LSE:ALN),

announced today the immediate availability of its new Alterian
Content Manager, Professional Edition. This product combines
Alterian’s wealth of CMS expertise and its track record of
collaboration with Microsoft, together into one package for
partners and customers looking to build an online identity on the
Microsoft Platform. Alterian Content Manager is the Content
Management System (CMS) behind more than 500 customers worldwide,
including WWE, AstraZeneca, Thomson Reuters, Lending Tree and
Avis-Europe.
Alterian Content Manager, Professional Edition
(ACM-p) is shipped with an extensive ASP.NET sample website to
enable rapid implementation, including over 25 fully documented
Components (.ascx controls) ready to be customised. These
Components include many of the essential areas of site
functionality like navigation, news, forms, sitemap and search
features; as well as social media functionality such as blogs,
polls, RSS feed subscriptions and a rich media player. As a result,
websites can be up and running in just a few weeks, whilst offering
a rich set of contemporary features that help businesses engage
with their audiences in order to build long-term profitable
relationships.
ACM-p offers many similar features as its big
brother, Alterian Content Manager, Enterprise Edition (ACM-e) but,
with several carefully introduced properties – including a maximum
number of sites, servers and users allowed – midsized companies can
now also benefit from this world class CMS solution in a

ACM-p is comprehensively based on Microsoft
technology, making it especially beneficial to partners and clients
